Lake Erie Fishing Charter (Pennsylvania)
Spend a day with family and friends fishing the big waters of Erie on either a fully rigged 27ft Sportscraft or a 30ft Penn Yan for Walleye, Smallmouth Bass or Steelhead. Smallmouth fishing can be action packed with the fish averaging from 2 to 5lbs. Drifting with medium action spinning outfits or trolling will be your choice. Many citation fish come at this time of the year. Walleye fishing will be done in the deeper waters of the central Basin of the lake with down riggers, dipsy divers and planer boards. The action can be fast with multiple hookups common. Average fish will weigh between 4 to 9lbs and they make fine table fair. Steelhead fishing is done by trolling near the shore. These silver beauties make for an exciting day on the lake. When the yellow perch are on it is hard to beat the fast action and the table fare that the yellow perch provide. With two boats in operation this makes for a great opportunity for that large group or corporate function to spend a day on the lake enjoying all that Lake Erie has to offer.
